Tamarah Rhema

Public health student and dialysis Patient Care Technician, on the path to PA school.

I study public health and biology at Wayne State University and care for hemodialysis patients at DaVita Kidney Care. I'm building the clinical experience to become a Physician Assistant.

About me

I'm a second-year Public Health student at Wayne State University with a minor in Biology. Day to day, I work in dialysis care, where I monitor vital signs, perform vascular-access cannulation within my training, and follow strict infection-control and patient-safety standards. I also have experience in senior living, administration, and customer service, which taught me patience, clear communication, and how to stay organized under pressure. I want to keep growing my clinical knowledge and build real connections with the people I care for.
